I have been on three planes, and three hotels, in three days... Everything is blurring together. We stayed one night in Hong Kong, but we didnt quite have enough time to do anything fun. Then we caught a plane to Xiamen, which is much further north. It is just west of Taiwan. Then we took a car to Jin Jiang where we worked for half a day in a factory correcting soles before they go to final steel molds. We also visited a few factories that MAKE the soles. Thrn we went to dinner with the factory director at traditional chinese dinner. It was....ok.
We then checked into hotel number two in Jin Jiang. Then i passed out and slept for about 10 hours.
The next morning woke up, breakfast, worked feverishly until noon correcting the upper parts of shoes. Lunch. Another factory in Jin Jiang, and then an hour and a half drive to Putian where we checked into hotel number three.
All this travel with very little internet made it difficult to check work email. So FINALLY tonite we were able to catch up on the 50+ emails waiting.
